Self Edit Experience provides youth development workshops, shelter for unhoused youth and young moms, food, and crisis care. We are fully committed to educational support, advocacy, mentorship, and meeting basic needs of children in Chicago and South Suburban Neighborhoods.
With over a decade of service in education and mental health for youth in foster care, unhoused due to discharged from foster care families due to various reasons, and young moms we look forward to serving hundreds of children and families annually.

We provide shelter, food, youth development programs, and crisis care to support individuals in overcoming challenges, identifying their strengths, and making informed choices.

Homelessness Statistics
As of the most recent data available, the homelessness rates among youth and young mothers in Illinois and the United States remain a pressing issue:
